“ Yes, yes, yes. Simply grilled delicious seafood and meats in a completely unexpecting location. Local spot. Big value. Delightful. ”
“ While we were in Lisbon we wanted to try some authentic things and this was one of the places. if you go try to call and make a reservation. we went with no reservations thinking it would be like other places in lisbon but this place gets crowded. we got there as a party of two and all the tables were seated or reserved. so we don't speak portuguese and didn't know the "culture" of waiting for a table. we were told to just stand here, mind you there is no waiting area we were in the way of waiters going by. then we were ignored for like 15 minutes. we finally got a table so they weren't ignoring us , it just felt that way. more and more people started coming so we got in just before the "rush"... it was already packed. they waiter was really cool, he gave us an english menu and explained different items to us. it is really fairly priced not too expensive. its located on the river but no real good views of the river, outside seating area by the water was closed off. the food is delicious, they grill most things right outside on the patio. don't over order you will be tempted because everything looks so good. i would absolutely go back, and recommend that you try it if in Lisbon. ”
“ WUT Men in suits, old business deals happening here + young hipster business start ups having lunch here + you as a tourist just disrupting their daily lives and eating with them while ogling all the food items. You HAVE to make a reservation. Know what fish is in season. Obviously everything here is fresh and grilled on one of the two charcoal grills. Eat the broccolini with white wine vinegar on top. Eat the deliciously unoxidized olives as you wait for your fish. Have a bottle of wine or a carafe. ”
“ One of the best places in Lisbon to eat fish. The grilled codfish is something special. Fair price but only during lunch and working days. ”
“ I have lived in Lisbon for many years and never heard of this restaurant until the other day. A friend of mine that works for the food section on a newspaper told me to come here to eat grilled fish so as I always trust his advice I came. I brought my parents and grandmother and everyone liked it! We had the best grilled sardines since I have remembered. From what I heard the rest of grilled fish is also amazing, even the meat :) The service was nice and polite and even on a hot summer afternoon it was fresh and cool under the roof (with sides open) as the wind blowing kept everyone with a nice temperature. Sardines (can't remember if 5 or 6) was 12,5€. You can get them cheaper somewhere else but you can't get them as good! ”
